13x7.8mm turquoise and goldstone teardrops are aventurine striped pear shape pointed back glass stones. These versatile smooth-top opaque cabochons can be used in pronged settings. Point up, it's a teardrop, but point in or out, it's a flower petal! The unfoiled backs come to a soft point. Coppery streaks of goldfluss vary from stone-to stone.
This uncirculated vintage NOS (new old stock) was made in West Germany. I've listed them as 1980's stock, but they could have been made at any time between 1949 and 1990. All I could find about the importer listed on the original packaging is that they were located in New York's Garment District and have since moved or gone out of business.
