18x13mm Bezels, Scalloped Lace Edge, Brass Coated Steel

Vintage 18x13mm oval bezels are brass coated steel, designed to hold flat back cabochons. Unset findings have a scalloped lace edge with a loop on each end left straight for connecting other findings.

These empty settings are unused stock from the 1970's (or thereabouts) and show signs of age (scratches, patina, small spots of corrosion). They still have a light coating of protective oil from the factory, which you will want to clean off before using. It won't take much effort, just a little warm water and mild dish soap. The settings come temporarily linked with raw brass jump rings, which you can incorporate in your project or use elsewhere. The manufacturer used them for convenience, since it allowed the settings to be measured and stored just like chain.
