Vintage Czech pressed glass beads are opaque black with assorted finishes including matte, hematite, and iris. Center-drilled holes on all except the smallest beads measure approximately 1mm. Pressed beads (particularly older ones) are known for being perfectly imperfect. Even beads manufactured in the same batch may have slight variations of size, shape, or color.
Available mixes:
Glossy Black 1 oz (18 beads) 9-22mm rounds, ovals, rectangles and flat drops.
Black/Hematite 1 oz (68-70 beads) 5-11mm rounds, rondelles, leaves, pyramids, and ovals with glossy, matte, and metallic finishes.
Tinies (67 beads) 66 smaller shapes including various sizes of seeds, rounds, and narrow tubes, plus a 23mm trapezoidal focal bead. Beads have a variety of finishes.
Beads were manufactured in the Czech Republic 1960-2000.
