Dyed Mother of Pearl Cabochons, 12x10mm Domed Ovals

Mother of pearl cabochons are cut as flat-backed ovals from a single layer of shell nacre and then dyed a rich shade of green. Each piece has unique variations in color and markings. Stones measure approximately 12x10mm with a 4mm dome.

These naturally iridescent gems would make a lovely addition to jewelry, accessories, mosaics, collages, and paper crafts. Although part of a large lot of salvaged vintage jewelry components, they appear to be unused.
