Green Aventurine Gemstone Chip Beads

Green aventurine gemstone chips are 4-10mm long, 2-5mm thick irregular-shaped polished semiprecious stone beads, single drilled with an 0.8mm hole (20 gauge wire fits through with room to wiggle) in the center or upper third of each semiprecious bead, depending on the size of the pebble. 34" strand of tumbled natural stone beads has semi-translucent shades of woodsy moss green. Even the darkest shades show some translucency at the edges when backlit. On their own or combined with other stones or even sea glass, these small nuggets are perfect for making boho and rustic jewelry.

Aventurine is a form of quartz. The green shades in these stones are the result of natural inclusions of chromium-rich fuchsite (chrome mica).
