Vintage 1" Metallic Silver Embossing Foil Roll, 600 Feet

Vintage roll of shiny silver metallic hot stamping foil measures 1" wide. Carrier material is thin but sturdy 12 micron polyester film. For best results, you will need a 220°- 275°F (105°- 135°C) metal die or foiling quill. Test starting with the lowest temperature and adjust upward as needed. Based on the outside diameter of 63mm, core diameter of 34mm, and material thickness of 12 microns, there is approximately 604 feet of unused foiling film on this roll. Some rolls may have a measurement printed on the end sticker, but I suspect the hot stamp operator reused stickers whenever possible to keep rolls secure and organized. All of the rolls I offer in this listing are the same size.

According to the manufacturer, this foil can be used on ABS, acetate, acrylic, aqueous coated stocks, cloth, lacquered wood, leather (coated), paper (coated and uncoated), parchment, polyester, polyurethane, pyroxylin, rigid PVC, and satin ribbon.
