Vintage 9mm Oval White Givre Beads

9x7mm faceted ovals have crystal clear pressed glass encasing white givre. The beads are fire polished and have an iridescent lustre coating. Center-drilled lengthwise holes are approximately 1mm. The size, shape, and givre color is consistent from bead to bead, but the amount of givre varies. Manufactured in West Germany in the early 1960's, these lovely NOS (new old stock) beads are just the right size for making jewelry or hair ornaments. They'd look great combined with pearls!
