Wishing You Joy Sizzix Embossing Folder, 4.5" Rectangle

Wishing You Joy Sizzix embossing folders has flexible plastic panels measuring 4 1/2" x 2 7/8", with the textured design inset with a 1/8" to 1/4" margin on each side. The size is perfect for making small greeting cards, large(ish) gift tags, and layered ornaments (bonus points if your creation can be used all three ways).  You will receive 1 gently used embossing folder.

Use with a manual embossing machine to add pattern and texture to card stock, lightweight vinyl, and thin metals for scrapbooks, collages, cards, and more. Use up all your scraps to create pretty things! Embossing folder has been gently used and comes without the original packaging. The outside may have a scratch or two, but the patterned area is pristine!

This is not a cutting die. Cutting your piece to size first (whether manually or with a die cutter) will prevent embossed areas from getting flattened.

To use this folder properly, you will need at least the universal platform and two cutting pads. Thinner materials (like aluminum blanks cut from beverage cans) may also require the use of a thin die adapter. If you own an embossing machine, you know how the sandwiching process works! For optimum results, use only one layer of whatever you plan to emboss. I recommend a test run with a scrap piece of whatever you'll be using, starting with the minimum number of pads and adapters and adding more as needed. Different materials will give you different end results.
