13x7.8mm rose pink and goldstone teardrop are aventurine striped pear shape pointed back glass stones. These versatile smooth-top opaque glass gems can be used in a pronged setting or you can use the hole at the back of the stone for wiring them to a larger piece, sewing on to fabric, or adding texture to beadwork. The unfoiled backs come to a soft point. Coppery streaks of aventurine (also known as goldfluss) vary from stone-to stone. Your order includes 16 glass stones.
14 of the stones have sewing holes on the back, 1 stone has a channel between the holes (it can still be prong-set), and 1 stone has a solid back with no sewing holes.
This uncirculated vintage NOS (new old stock) was made in West Germany between 1949 and 1990 for a now-defunct company in New York's Garment District.
