13x9mm Teardrop Die Cuts, Small Upcycled Leather Pre-Cut Stud Shapes

13x9mm teardrop-shaped die cut pieces are real leather, handmade by me from scraps of high quality Italian top grain cowhide. Small shapes measure 13mm long and 9mm wide. These little die cuts are approximately 1.5mm thick, The brown assortment has soft, flexible pieces. The single-color lots made from beige vegetable tanned tooling leather have the same thickness, but are a bit stiffer. Tooling leather is typically used to make saddles, belts, and boots.

Use these small die cuts just like cabochons for making stud earrings or to embellish mixed media creations. Cut edges are unfinished and may have fuzz toward the underside that can be trimmed with sharp scissors or filed with an emery board for a smoother look. As these are made from a single thickness of natural cowhide, the finish is only on the front.
