Dark Blue Sodalite Cabochon 24.5mm Art Deco Square 28ct Natural Gemstone

Dark blue sodalite cabochon measures approximately 24.5mm square and is 9.75mm thick. It weighs approximately 28 carats. Opaque Art Deco-style cab has rounded edges and is carved with a herringbone pattern. Vintage stone is salvaged from vintage jewelry (pre-2000). The back side has some residue where it was attached to a finding, a few scratches, and a small chip at one edge. Despite being banged about, it's still lovely and usable in closed-back designs.
