Nephrite jade spheres are a lovely, deep olive green beads with center-drilled holes. Nephrite is a naturally occurring mineral; translucently, color, and inclusions vary from bead to bead. 8mm and 10mm beads do not have polishing around the holes and are much darker and opaque than the 4mm. Give these a bit of a rinse before stringing to remove lapidary dust from the holes.
