Vintage 12x8mm Faceted Oval Beads, Jet Vitrail

Vintage jet black Czech glass beads measure approximately 12mm long by 8mm. These tapered beads are faceted all over and have a blue-green vitrail coating on half of the bead. Vitrail is similar to an AB coating, only with more colors (like a scarab beetle). The lengthwise holes measure approximately 1mm and they're fire polished to keep your beadwork snag-free! These little beauties are unused store stock at least 40 years old. Some may have scratches to the finish (see photos for enlarged detail). Each is bead on the strand is separated by a black/iris glass seed bead. Choose from either a 1/2 strand with 43 oval beads (measures 23.5", give or take a seed bead) or a full strand with 86 oval beads (about 47").
