Round hematite cabochon measures approximately 11mm diameter and 3mm thick with a smooth, nearly flat dome and faceting along the edge just above the girdle. Metallic black stone has a center hole for setting a 2.5mm rhinestone (I've shown a 18pp stone set in the hole, but it's almost too small). The back side is smooth, but not polished. Average weight is 4.67ct. Stones were hand-cut, so there are no perfect matches.
These stones are vintage salvage, but they do not appear to have been used.
