Weather is the word for Day 14 of #JunkJournalJuly '24! No progress shots today, only the finished page spread. Peeking through the window on the right it the Wordsworth quote on light, which was also weather-related. I collaged around the page with music paper, a cluster (made previously and in my stash), some butterflies, and a quote from George Gissing that I liked too much to leave behind in the vintage book of quotations I've been harvesting. To set it off from the page a bit, I backed it with a bit of old paper coated with matte white gesso tinted with a tiny dab of blue acrylic paint. The little watercolor of a raincloud on the right page is a happy accident. I was attempting to remove a glue smudge with a tissue and it stuck to the page. Since it looked kind of like a cloud, I got out the watercolor markers, added a quote from Matthew Arnold. Since the cloud needed something to rain on, I added some roses I had cut from a magazine.
