Day 5 prompt: Lettering

When I cut out mini tags and label frames from 4x6" masterboards, I save any usable scrap. I had one piece that was just the right size for framing different types of lettering. All-over stamping with archival ink and dots of metallic blue and pearl acrylic paint surround various Julys and event-themed lettering cut from vintage ephemera. The tag is topped with a cluster of vintage textiles. For extra strength and plenty of writing space, the card is fully backed with a piece of coffee dyed cardstock (not shown).

The tag fits neatly into the hybrid band/pocket on the page.  It started with a band of green and gold damask patterned cardstock, but the addition of a "party" of colorful indigo buntings cut from a vintage field guide reflects the blue lettering on the journaling tag.
